A teacher checking homework has one question that the screen should never make them hunt for: which homework is this, and who has not handed it in? The checking page has been rebuilt around exactly that — the homework at the top, the class summarised, and the students who still need looking at one filter away. On the phones, the parent's app had its start-up taken apart: it now opens on Home in about a second, without the Login screen flashing past.

The homework checking page, rebuilt
- It now tells you which homework you are checking. Opened from Homework → View Homework → ⋮ → View Details, the page starts with the homework's title, class and section, subject, date and instructions — with a Homework list link back and a button to open the homework's own files.
- The whole class, summarised at the top. How many students have submitted out of the class, how many are still pending — with Remind all beside the number — how many have an AI grade, and the class's average AI score.
- Filter, search and sort. Show everyone, only those who submitted, only those still pending, or Needs review — work that has come in but has no grade or comment yet. Search by name, and sort by class order, by name, or by highest or lowest score.
- An AI grade you can actually read. Open a student and the score, comments, strengths, areas for improvement and feedback are laid out separately instead of running together in one block. Your own comments box sits underneath with a Save comments button, and the page tells you whether they are saved.
- Re-grading updates itself. Ask for a re-grade and the student shows "Grading with AI…", with the new score appearing on its own, usually within a minute. If it takes longer the page says so, and Refresh picks it up later.
- Scores you can scan, on any screen. Green for 8 to 10, amber for 5 to 7 and red below 5 — always with the number shown, never colour alone. On a phone each student becomes a card instead of a wide table.

The parent's app now opens in about a second
- A start screen that gets out of the way. A new white EDII start screen closes as soon as your Home is ready — about a second — in place of the old purple screen that stayed up on its own schedule.
- No more Login screen flashing past. Parents who are already signed in no longer see the Login screen appear for a moment while the app works out who they are.
- Home and the bottom tabs are quicker — and keep their place. They open faster, keep showing what they already had while refreshing in the background, and no longer mix up details when you switch between children.
- The payment total is the total. The payment confirmation now shows the exact amount you will pay, including any convenience fee — and the fee and receipt pages no longer get stuck loading.
- Uploads that finish, and screens that remember. Homework and document uploads no longer hang, with a clear message if camera or photo access has been turned off. Attendance, calendar, homework status and postcards always show the month, child and category you actually selected.
- Sign-out, circulars and security. Signing out now fully signs you out on that phone even on a weak connection, emailing a circular opens your email app with the circular ready to send, and the libraries the app is built on have been updated for security.
