Settlement of Online Fee Payment to School

The settlement of any transaction takes around T+2 to T+3 days with our Payment Gateway service provider(s) and an additional day to settle that with respective schools. Under some special circumstances and holidays there is a delay in the settlement process.

Payment Cancellation for Online Fee Payment to School

Cancellation and refund policies under various scenarios have been listed below:

Scenario 1: Payment in Issued State

If fee's is paid via online payment mode, and if it is still in Issued State on the Payment Gateway, the transaction can be cancelled. For that purpose please reach out to our CSR team and they will take in your request for payment cancellation and confirm the cancellation as well.

Scenario 2: Payment Processed

If the Online Fee payment has been processed, in that scenario, we would request you to reach out to school for discussion on cancellation and refund. Please reach out to them after 2-3 day(s) time as settlement with bank will take that much time. At present we do not have a refund/cancellation policy setup with school.

Refund Timeline

Once a refund is initiated, or if the order is not generated at the time of the transaction, then you should get the credit in your bank account within 5-7 business days failing which you can check the refund status here.

Failed Transactions

If your payment failed but amount was debited from your account, the refund will be processed automatically within 5-7 business days by the bank.

Note: No action required from your side for failed transaction refunds.
Duplicate Payments

If you accidentally made duplicate payments for the same fee, please contact our support team immediately with transaction details.

Action: Contact CSR within 24 hours for faster resolution.

Frequently Asked Questions

The complete refund process typically takes 7-10 business days from the date of request submission. This includes verification (1-2 days), processing (2-3 days), and bank settlement (5-7 days).

You need: Transaction ID/Payment ID, clear screenshot of payment confirmation, student details (name, class, section), and reason for refund. Bank statement showing debit may be required in some cases.

For processed payments, the final decision rests with your school as per their refund policy. Edii acts as a payment facilitator and follows the institution's guidelines for fee refunds.

Contact our CSR team immediately with your refund reference number. We will escalate the matter with our payment gateway partner and provide you with a tracking reference for follow-up.
