App notifications
Parent and teacher apps, per-child routing, pictures, unread counts.
EDII Messages · on the school operating system
EDII sends school messages on the channel each family uses: EDII app notifications, SMS, WhatsApp, email and Telegram. Absences, fee receipts, homework and notices go out on their own; circulars reach only the people they are for; and the class diary reaches home the same evening.
01 · Channels
The everyday messages, absent today, fee received, homework set, notice posted, leave the moment the work is done, on the channels the school switches on.
The EDII parent and teacher apps carry their own notifications, with a Notifications page, pictures, and an unread count. A parent with two children gets each notification under the right child; a phone shared by two teachers gives each their own.

02 · Circulars and diary
A circular for one section reaches that section; a notice for staff never wakes up parents.
Create a circular for the whole school, a class, a section or staff, pin it, attach a PDF and see what is active. AI drafts circulars, notices, letters and homework in English and Hindi together; the teacher edits and sends.

03 · Two-way
Requests that used to arrive on the class WhatsApp group get a proper place, a status and an answer.
Parents raise a complaint and follow its status, apply for a child's leave, fill a feedback form, and book a parent-teacher meeting slot, with a one-page summary of the child ready for the teacher. Families can also ask the EDII bot on Alexa about results, attendance, homework, notices and fees.

04 · Everything in Messages

Free per message; parents join by scanning a poster.
Targeted to school, class, section or staff, pinned and tracked.
Chapter, practice and homework, home the same evening, in Hindi too.
Complaints, leave, feedback, PTM booking and the Alexa bot.
05 · Questions
No. Families without the app get SMS, WhatsApp, email or Telegram. The app adds the full picture: homework, fees, results and notifications under each child.
SMS and WhatsApp are charged per message. EDII app notifications and Telegram are not charged per message, which is why schools move everyday messages there.
Yes. The school switches each kind of message on or off and picks the channels for it.
Notices, circulars, letters and homework can be drafted by AI in English and Hindi together, and diary notes can be written in Hindi.
Each notification arrives under the right child, and tapping it opens that child in the app.
