A single-student receipt makes sense for a walk-in payment, but it wastes paper — and time — when you're closing out a whole class. This week's update is built around that moment: a new tabular receipt that fits four students to one A4 page, and a one-click way to print a whole class's receipts at once, ready to cut into slips. Alongside it, a smaller but handy change — fee heads can now be reordered on the printed receipt whenever you edit them.

A tabular receipt, four students to a sheet
- A new receipt layout — Type 8. Turn it on from Configuration → Preferences → Receipt Type → Type 8 - Tabular Slip, and use the Type 8 preview button to see it before switching. Each slip is a quarter of an ordinary A4 sheet, so one page cuts cleanly into four.
- Every fee head, every time. The slip lists every fee head set up for the student's class, including any with nothing paid this time — those simply print as 0.00. That means the receipt comes out as the same fixed form every month, ending with Opening Dues, TOTAL, Late Fine and FEE RECEIVED.
- More student details on the slip. Alongside the usual receipt details, Type 8 also shows the student's Date of Birth and Admission No.
- Print a whole class in one go. From Fees → Search by Class Section, pick the class, section and date range, press Search, then choose Print All Receipts (4 per A4 page) from the print menu — every receipt in the list prints four different students to a sheet, ready to be cut apart. It's ordinary A4 paper with the print dialog left on its normal settings, no special paper or scale to set.

Reorder fee heads on the receipt
- Room for more fee heads. Print Priority — which controls the order fee heads print in on a receipt — now goes up to 20, up from 10. Schools with more than ten fee heads can finally give every one of them its own position.
- Change it any time you edit. Print Priority can now be changed whenever you edit a fee head, not only when you first create it (Fees → Add / Edit Fee Head) — so getting the receipt order right no longer means recreating the fee head from scratch.
