Your AI usage, now in full view

This week EDII gives you a clear window into how much AI your school is using — and full control over it. A new Token Usage page shows your remaining AI credits, how they're being spent and by whom, and lets you top up in a couple of clicks when you're running low. And if you ever run out, your AI features now land gently instead of throwing an error. Alongside it: a Group Dashboard for multi-branch schools, one image & document viewer across the whole app, and one consistent order for students everywhere.

AI usage you can see & control 15 updates

AI is now woven through everything EDII does — question papers, self-learn lessons, finance and exam analytics, chat. This week we make that AI transparent and yours to manage: a single Token Usage page that shows exactly what you have, what you've used and where it went, with a simple way to top up when you need more — and a gentle, clear message instead of an error if credits ever run out. Beyond AI, multi-branch groups get a dedicated Group Dashboard, every photo and document now opens in one clean viewer, Buzz posts are easier to tidy up, and students finally appear in the same order on every single screen.

See — and control — your school's AI usage

A clear view of your AI credits. A new Token Usage page under the AI Powered section shows how many AI credits your school has left, how many of this month's free credits remain, your purchased balance, and how much you've used — with a banner that warns you the moment credits run low or run out. Just viewing the page never uses any credits.
Usage breakdowns and trends. Pick any date range — daily, weekly or monthly — to see how your usage changes over time, which features use the most (chat, analytics, content), how it splits between students, teachers and admins, and who your top users are.
Top up when you're running low. Running low on or out of AI credits? You can buy more right from the Token Usage page — choose how many packs you need (1 pack = 1,000,000 tokens for ₹100), pay securely online, and your balance updates automatically. A Buy Tokens button also appears in the low-balance warning.
A gentle landing if credits run out. If your school uses up all its AI credits, student and teacher AI features now show a clear "please contact your school admin" message instead of a generic error. Your admin analytics (Finance AI, Exam AI) always keep working, and your free monthly credits refresh automatically each month.

Every branch, in one Group Dashboard

Your whole group, at a glance. If your school is part of a group with more than one branch, super-admins now get a dedicated Group Dashboard that pulls every branch together — group-wide totals (students, today's attendance, today's collection, net cash, fees collected this session, expenses) plus highlights like your top-attendance branch, the one that needs attention, your biggest revenue contributor and your largest branch.
Compare branches side by side. Owner-focused charts compare net cash today, attendance against a 90% target and the group average, each branch's share of session revenue, present vs absent headcount, fees vs expenses, and revenue per student. A sortable table lists every branch with the same figures, and you can jump straight into any branch's own dashboard with one click.
This branch, or all branches. A new This Branch / All Branches toggle on your dashboard lets multi-branch super-admins flip between their single-branch view and the collated group view. Single-branch schools see no change.

One image & document viewer, everywhere

One cleaner viewer across the whole app. Opening a photo, scanned answer sheet, homework submission, ID / admission / staff document, visitor proof, gallery picture, expense receipt or report preview now uses a single full-screen viewer everywhere instead of the older, inconsistent pop-ups. Move between images with on-screen arrows or your keyboard, jump to any picture using the thumbnail strip, see a "3 of 8" counter, and click to zoom in.
PDFs and documents open properly. A PDF attachment now previews right inside the viewer instead of appearing broken, and Word, Excel or other file types show a one-click Open / Download. Receipts and multi-page attachments now open together in one gallery rather than scattering across several browser tabs.

Tidy up your Buzz posts

Manage a post's photos. Open any post in Social Media → Buzz and tap Edit — you can now remove individual photos (each one has an × to take it off the post) and add more photos to a post you've already published. Previously the Edit screen only let you change the post's name and description.
Delete a whole post. A new Delete Buzz button lets you remove an entire post you no longer want — you'll be asked to confirm first, so nothing disappears by accident.

One consistent order for students, everywhere

The same order on every screen. Earlier the same class could be listed differently from one screen to the next — attendance alphabetical, mark entry by roll number, a report by something else. Now every place that lists students uses one standard order — Class → Section → Roll Number → Name — including Attendance, Mark Entry (Bulk and single-subject), Report Cards, Class Lists, the Student Directory, printed Admit Cards, and your Excel / CSV exports.
Smarter number ordering. Roll numbers now sort in true numeric order, so 2 comes before 10 (instead of "10" before "2"), and mixed values like A1 come before A10. Students without a roll number yet (blank or NA) appear at the end of the list instead of the top, and the order stays the same no matter which server handles your request.
A custom order for your school. Prefer to list students by something other than roll number — by Name, Admission / Form Number or Enrolment Number? Your school can be set up to use that order across all of those screens, and wherever a value is missing it falls back to roll number, then name, so nobody disappears or jumps around. (Contact support if you'd like to change which field is used.)
Your records are never affected. This change only controls the order students are displayed in. Saved marks, attendance and other records are unchanged, so re-ordering a list can never move or mix up anyone's data.

Powerful AI — on your terms.

The more AI does for your school, the more you should be able to see and control what it costs. This week puts that in your hands: a clear meter on your AI usage, an easy way to top up, and a gentle landing if you ever run out — plus a sharper group view, a cleaner way to open every file, and students in one predictable order everywhere you look. Small steps, every week, toward a school that runs itself a little more. And we ship more next week.
