Every year in January, students start hunting for “important questions” and sample papers, often before they have finished the chapters. A paper taken too early only tells you what you have not studied yet. We want the paper to come at the right moment: after the studying, as the last step before the exam.

In one line

Score 70% or more in the EDII app or in your school exams, and every month until the boards you get a full practice paper for your 2027 board exam with its answer key, as the final step of your revision.

What we have been working on

Over the past months we have been working on our AI for board exam preparation. One result is a set of practice papers for the 2027 board exams, made the way a board paper is made:

  • The latest board pattern. Each paper follows the board’s latest sample paper (the CBSE 2026-27 sample paper, and the CISCE specimen paper for ICSE and ISC): the same sections, question types, internal choices and marks for each unit of the syllabus.
  • Only this year’s syllabus. Chapters the board has taken out of the exam stay out of the papers.
  • Built on what the board has asked before. We went through years of past board papers and sample papers, so each paper gives the most weight to the topics the board returns to most often.
  • New questions. Every question is newly written in board style. None is copied from a past paper.
  • Checked answers. Every numerical answer is worked out again, and the step marks in every answer key add up to the marks of the question.

What these papers are, and are not

These are practice papers based on past board exam trends. They are not official CBSE or CISCE papers, and they do not predict or reveal the questions in your exam. What they give you is a full paper on the latest pattern, so the real one feels familiar.

Why the paper comes last

A practice paper is most useful when you have already done the work. Taken after you have studied, it shows how ready you really are: where you run short of time, which questions you skip, and where marks slip away in the working.

That is why we are not simply handing papers out. Learn the chapters, practise in class and in the app, and when your scores show you are ready, the paper comes to you. Sitting a full paper on time, on your own, and then checking it honestly is a habit that will help you in the exam, and in life.

Who gets a paper

A student on the EDII app gets that month’s practice paper for a subject when they:

  • score 70% or more in that subject in the EDII app, in the tests and practice they take there, or
  • score 70% or more in that subject in their school exams, as their school has recorded the marks in EDII.

We check before every paper goes out. A student who reaches 70% in December starts getting papers in December.

For teachers

Teachers follow the same rule, for the whole class. A teacher can open a month’s practice paper for a class only when the class average in that subject reaches 70%. The paper stays a reward for being ready, not a shortcut around the studying.

Classes and boards

Papers are for the 2027 board exams of CBSE Class 10 and Class 12, ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12).

When the papers come

PaperWhen
Paper 1End of November 2026
Paper 2End of December 2026
Paper 3End of January 2027
Paper 4Early February 2027
Paper 5Mid-February 2027, as the board exams begin

That is one paper a month, and two in February, when it matters most.

How you get it

Each paper reaches you by email and as a notification in the EDII app. It comes as a PDF with its answer key and marking scheme, ready to print. To make sure it reaches you:

  • check that the email address on your EDII profile is correct,
  • keep EDII notifications switched on, and
  • look in your spam folder if a paper has not arrived.

How to use the paper

  1. Sit it like the real exam. Print it or open it away from your books, set a timer for the time printed on the paper and finish it in one go.
  2. Then mark it honestly. Open the answer key and check your work step by step, the way a board examiner would.
  3. Go back to what cost you marks. Revise those chapters before the next paper arrives.

Questions students and parents ask

I scored 68%. Can I still get the paper?

Not yet. Keep practising in the app. Once you reach 70% in the subject, the next paper comes to you.

Are these the real board exam questions?

No. They are practice papers based on past board exam trends, on the latest board pattern. They are not official CBSE or CISCE papers and do not predict the questions in your exam.

Does the paper come with answers?

Yes. Every paper comes with its answer key and marking scheme, so you can check your work after you have finished.

Can my teacher give me the paper?

Teachers can open a paper only when the class average in the subject reaches 70%.

Ready when you are.

Open the EDII app, keep practising, and reach 70%. The first paper arrives at the end of November.
